MII Fellowship Award

MII Award Presentation

Dr. Griffin was recently awarded a full Fellowship from the prestigious Midwest Implant Institute.

The MII was founded in 1980 by Dr. Alfred "Duke" Heller with Dr. Jack Hahn and is the oldest dental implant teaching school in the U.S. Located in Lewis Center, Ohio, the Institute remains on the frontline of technology, instruction, techniques, and clinical applications regarding implant dentistry.

After completion of the schooling and placing hundreds of implants, a doctor may apply for Fellowship status. His presented cases are reviewed by a peer review committee of other practicing doctors and judged for competency and treatment. The applying doctor must have also fulfilled the requirement of teaching continuing dental education in implantology to his peers.

Dr. Griffin was awarded his Fellowship after having fulfilled all requirements and was welcomed to this very select group. There are a total of only 52 Fellows at MII after 30 years.
